Getting around Angeles City

It would be best if you only walked around Fields Avenue after dark. If you want to go anywhere else, be it to Perimeter Road or the hotel, if it is not near Fields Avenue, you should always use one available public transport for safety reasons. The main modes of transportation in Angeles are:

Tricycles: Tricycles, also called “Trike” for short, can be found everywhere in the Philippines, including Angeles. These are motorcycles that are equipped with a sidecar and can usually accommodate up to three passengers. However, it is not uncommon to see tricycles hopelessly overcrowded with passengers even sitting on the roof. To avoid unpleasant surprises, the fare should always be negotiated before starting the journey.

Jeepneys: Jeepneys are probably the most popular form of public transportation in the Philippines. These have initially been jeeps that had their wheelbase lengthened and a new body fitted. As already mentioned above, you should always take a trike late at night for safety reasons and never try to reach dark and deserted areas on foot, especially if you are traveling alone. Security

While many reports of the ubiquitous crime scene in Angeles City are often grossly exaggerated, safety concerns are legitimate. Even if you don’t know much about the Civil War and the details, it is informative and emotional to witness a battle that follows the historical record. The actors take this very seriously so it won’t feel campy at all but rather somber and serious. A tru learning experience.

6 – Ride the rails

There is a lot of area in the South in general, but particularly in Tennessee that feels like it is trapped in time. It is very easy to imagine what life was like for people over a hundred years ago because many things from that time remain.

If you are a rail and train buff then you will love the classic trains that still steam up the rails along the old routes in the Southern States. There are loads of museums where you can see the artifacts from that bygone era.

Although the location for this museum is odd, the experience is not. In fact it is the largest permanent Titanic museum in the world. You can see what it was like on that ill fated liner that famously sank after hitting an iceberg in 1912.

Walking through the ship is an interesting experience and many people experience chills when they walk down the grand staircase that was made famous by the many movies about the liner.

To make it more real, you are given a replica ticket of an actual passenger. At the end of the tour is when you find out if the passenger on your ticket lived or perished that night in the North Atlantic.
