For registered nurses who already work in the nursing profession, there’s the opportunity to travel and work when you wish. A travel nurse or someone who volunteers his or her time while abroad is building up an impressive resume of relevant work experience.

Let’s look at how you can advance a nursing career while enjoying periodic travel too.

Travel Nurse

The role of a travel nurse is to transplant your relevant, qualified nursing experience and bring it to foreign shores that are crying out for medical staff to pitch in. Quite often, the travel nurse gets to experience different kinds of medical cases and work with a wider variety of personnel. Depending on the location and type of health issues that are presented, a PACU travelling nurse can have an unforgettable experience. Usually, there’s also plenty of free time available to sightsee or pursue educational advancement.

Exploring local PRN travel nurse jobs provides opportunities for nurses to work on an as-needed basis in nearby healthcare facilities. These positions offer flexibility, allowing nurses to contribute their skills in temporary roles while remaining in their local area, providing a balance between work and personal life.

Studying Nursing While Abroad

Along with new work experiences, it’s also possible to take on one of the online doctoral nursing programs to advance from MSN to DNP online. It’s fair to say that the best DNP programs are the ones with the most flexible study schedule and detailed class materials, all easily accessible online. Once you’ve received your Master’s (or Doctorate) degree from a nurse practitioner program, you will need to pass an exam and become licensed.

A good internet connection is usually required to view video clips, but studying materials in PDFs and other document types uses little bandwidth to download. Bradley University offers an excellent online program that matches these requirements perfectly.

Finding the Time to Study with All the Distractions

When you’re staying abroad, there’s the temptation to go sightseeing as much as possible. Perhaps every waking hour when away from the local hospital is spent taking in the sights or unwinding. It’s sometimes difficult to get back into study mode when away from your home country, but it can be done successfully with a little effort.

What you need to do is break down your day into segments. Look at what personal tasks can be grouped together to run your errands in a batch and take care of other chores in a more efficient manner. Similarly, you must decide what your priorities are.

Deciding What’s Most Important for Your Career

Is achieving a doctorate degree that will provide the opportunity to significantly advance your career be worth the sacrifice of some sightseeing and nightlife experiences? If the answer is a resounding “yes,” then you need to organize your time around your nursing work placement and new studies, with other things being fit in around these most important activities. With this type of approach, it’s possible to alter how your week progresses to ensure that you incorporate the right amount of study time to get the best results.

It’s probably a good idea to talk to the work placement managers to see whether the hours can be reduced while completing the studies too. Many foreign employers in need of good nurses are happy to adjust the hours down if they can retain experienced staff for longer. Studying while being abroad is now very possible thanks to the conversion of nursing degrees to online programs.

It’s no secret that India has a long and colourful history, but rather than simply reading about this in a book or online, there are many incredible places of historical significance you could visit right now to get a taste of this history for yourself.

In this post you can find three examples of such locations dotted about this country you might wish to consider.

The Khajuraho Temples

These Hindu and Jain temples may also be called the ‘Khajuraho Group of Monuments’ and are found in Madhya Pradesh. The first of these are believed to have been built around 950 A.D. during the time the Chandela dynasty ruled, however, many more were built periodically as different rulers came and went.

These striking buildings are dominated by their tall rounded spires, but they also have layouts typical of all Hindu temples which mirror their beliefs and principles. Many of them are largely in tact and provide a captivating insight into religious life during this time.

Qutub Minar

Qutub Minar is a minaret which was once one of the largest in the world. It stands at 74 metres tall and was first built to go alongside the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque in 1192.

Largely intact, it is a World Heritage Site which means that when you visit you can find out more about the history of the minaret including how it survived lightning strikes, earthquakes and several rebuilds and additions.

Ajanta Caves

Another World Heritage Site, the Ajanta Caves are a series of caves and rock sculptures in the Aurangabad District that date back as far as the 2nd century. There are roughly 29 caves to explore that are believed to have been built by Buddhist monks.

As well as being quite a site to behold from the outside (as these are carved into the side of a rocky hillside) it’s inside where they really come to life. There’s fascinating paintings and carvings depicting what life was like for monks and settlers during this time.

To help yourself get a really thorough understanding of the true history behind these (and any other) historical Indian treasures, it can be a good idea to properly plan your trip and seek expert help to find tours and guidance.

So, what are you waiting for? Get your trip arranged and discover the delights of the Indian cultures and traditions of the past and learn incredible new facts and information about this amazing country.

Are you planning to visit a beach with your family this coming weekend? You can make your vacation more adventurous by finding a suitable means of exploring the entire beach. Well, one of the best item to use for exploring the waters is a jet ski. Jet skies are crafted in different models and designs whereby, some are designed for a single person use while others are designed to accommodate more than one individual.

But, before you choose a jet ski to work with, here are some tips to guide you to select the best jet ski.

Research for the Rental Companies

Although there are several jets ski rental companies, you need to choose a company that will give you the best services and a company that has a good reputation in this business. So, check out on the website regarding the rental companies around the beach and follow the customer’s reviews so you can be able to choose a company that will provide you with the best jet ski.

The Seating Size of the Jet Ski

Do you want to get a jet ski that you can share with someone or jet ski for very every individual? As we saw earlier, these watercraft are designed with different seating spaces for one to choose from depending on their needs. Therefore, if you want a jet that you can share with your kids or wife, make sure it has enough sitting area. Some are crafted with triple seats while others have double seats.

The Price

How much have you planned on spending in renting a jet ski? This is an essential question that you need to ask yourself before you head to find a shop to hire from. The jet skis are offered at different prices depending on the sizes, the brands and also the company you are renting from. So ask around about the best rental companies who provide the devices within your budget. But make sure you are flexible regarding your budget as you may be advised for more money to get a better brand of a jet ski. If you live in Fort Lauderdale, check out the fort lauderdale jet ski rental prices offered by the available rental companies in choosing the company that will provide you with a pocket-friendly price within your budget.

Safety Equipment

This is essential if you are a beginner. You need to choose a company that is offering the jet ski with all the necessary safety gears such that in case of anything you will be safe and avoids getting drowned. The essential safety gear that should be available is a safety jacket. If you are jetting with kids, make sure there are small sizes available for kids as well.

The Terms and Conditions

Lastly, you need to look at the terms and conditions offered by the different rental companies to see which ones are friendly to you. These terms may be based on the payment whereby some companies request you to pay half the rental price before you get the jet while others may require you to pay the entire amount upfront. To be on safe side, work with a company that needs you to pay a particular amount of money before you get the jet and the remaining amount after you finish your rides.

Follow the above rental guides to help you select the best jet ski for you and your family. Check the jet carefully before you buy it to ensure it is in excellent condition and functioning well too.

Egypt is an enchanting country full of archaeological wonders, sites of important human history, and bustling metropolises. That being said, it can also be a confusing and overwhelming country at times, which is why it’s great to come prepared.

Like any new country you travel to, it’s important to have a basic understanding of the countries cultures and norms and what is expected of visitors. Religious or cultural differences, body language and gestures, and even ways of eating and using the washroom can differ greatly from place to place.

To help keep your vacation stress free and permit you to enjoy the magical, bustling country that is Egypt, we offer these five useful tips and pieces of knowledge you can use when traveling to Egypt.

1. Bring your haggling skills

Egyptian souks and markets are a true sight to behold and a definite “must visit” when you’re in country. That being said, you’ll want to bring your A-game when it comes to haggling if you want to enjoy your time in Egypt.

Everything is negotiable in Egypt and haggling is expected, so don’t worry about offending anyone. You won’t only encounter this at the markets, but will also see it at the corner store, in non-metered taxis, and while shopping for souvenirs.

2. Respect the local dress code

Even if you’re a tourist, it is a sign of respect to the country you are visiting to honor and respect their dress codes and culture. It’s important to research the country’s norms before landing on their soil, since sometimes our casual wear can come across as downright disrespectful in other, more conservative countries.

In Egypt, women are asked to keep their knees and shoulders covered, to have a scarf on hand to cover their hair when visiting religious sites, and to always remove your shoes before entering a mosque.

Don’t worry! Bikinis and Western swimwear are perfectly acceptable at resorts along places like the Red Sea.

For men, shorts are permitted in the city but you’ll want to have a pair of longer pants on hand for visiting someone’s home or when you’re invited to an event.

Sleeveless shirts, gym wear and tank tops are not acceptable.

3. Eat with the locals

This advice applies to any country, but Egypt is such a foodie’s wonderland that you will definitely want to abide by this rule there: eat where the locals eat.

Only eat at street stalls and restaurants that are full of locals. One or two tourists is fine, but if you spot a chain restaurant you have at home, avoid it at all costs! You’re here to immerse yourself in a new country, and food is a huge part of that experience.

4. Bring toilet paper

You may be laughing to read this now, but you won’t be when you’re in a public washroom with no toilet paper in sight!

You will be hard pressed to find toilet paper in most bathrooms in Egypt. Many will have a built in bidet spray nozzle, but that will leave you with a wet behind. So when you’re heading out to explore, stop in a local shop and pick up a roll.

Don’t worry about toilet paper being available in hotels though! Swanky set ups like the JW Marriott Hotel Cairo will have all your amenities (including toilet paper) cared for.

5. Always ask for prices first

Taking a cab? Buying a bottle of water? Candy? Anything else? Always ask for the price before purchasing so you don’t get “tourist pricing” and sticker shock. Again, haggling over high prices is permitted.

Education Through Travel

Travel helps discover in oneself what was hidden behind the dullness of everyday life, expand your consciousness, and realize your dreams. Travel should be an integral part of every person’s life… CONTINUE READING >>

Professors and students have talked about how a person can learn by getting outside of their habitual habitat. Let’s find out how travelling promotes education.

Travel as the main factor of personal development

Have you ever thought about why you travel? Some travel for new acquaintances, others want to just lie by the sea and do nothing, while the rest walks through new cities and small streets from morning to night with a list of attractions. But if you combine all these goals, you’ll see that the main reason for traveling is to get new emotions and inspiration.

During the trip, not only you can restore your strength but also get a complete reloading of your worldview, a change in your way of thinking, habits, and even character. fireessay.com has found out why it is so useful to travel and how to make it a stimulus for self-development.

Why is it so important to travel?

Travel helps discover in oneself what was hidden behind the dullness of everyday life, expand your consciousness, and realize your dreams. Travel should be an integral part of every person’s life. In each trip, you can make new acquaintances, friends, and business partners. Thanks to travel, you grow up and go to a new level of your personal development.

The main benefit of traveling is that a person, leaving his habitual environment, loses those factors and their strength that affect him on a daily basis. During the vacation, you:

• Wake up and go to bed at a different time than when at home
• Eat different food
•Regularly find new information from brochures, excursions, communication with strangers, studying the map, geography, and another language
• Begin to  enjoy the aesthetic beauty of architecture, nature, and listen to new music

Watch yourself when you’re in a new place. You will certainly notice that your thoughts flow differently. You’re relaxed and don’t think at all about the things you’re used to thinking about in the hectic days of weekdays. During your rest, you receive an invaluable experience, which grows into the possibilities of development in each of the spheres of your life. You think differently and let in yourself a new image of yourself.

The role of travel in the development of children

Travel is especially important for children because it is at an early age that the child’s character is laid when he is very curious and learns from his parents. During travel, the child gets acquainted with the world, he develops tolerance to other peoples, cultures, and races.

It is foolish to take the child with you on a long journey and give him to a children’s club with animators, where he will be entertained the whole day, but he will not receive absolutely any information about the country where he is, will not get interaction with another culture, language etc. If the child, together with his parents, works on the route plan, choosing what he would like to visit and see, then he will learn how to be responsible for his choice and be attentive during the excursions. Most likely he will be interested in advance in the place where he will go, studying geography and asking questions about the country. Such a trip for him will become conscious, memorable, and very useful.

What can you learn in different countries?

Think in general how you can use your experience from traveling in life and what you can learn from other cultures. For example, the Spaniards and Greeks can teach you how to rest properly. Yes, you need to know how to rest right. The Greeks have a rule not to talk about work during friendly meetings, the siesta, and on the weekends.

The inhabitants of the northern countries of Europe can teach you punctuality, clarity, and discipline. If a German or a Dutchman appoints you a meeting time at 16:12, then it means exactly at 16:12 minutes. They are used to strictly plan their day and will be kinder to you if you in turn respect their time.

Learn the languages. This will be a huge plus during communication and interaction with people, it will solve any issue quickly and easily. If you do not have time for language courses at home, choose a type of rest that will combine business with pleasure. Today, there are many camps for both children and adults where you can study the language, while communicating with native speakers.

Creative Ways to Propose to Your Fiancé

Though some argue traditional proposals are a safe bet, we believe catching her (or him!) off-guard will create a more memorable, long-lasting impression. It’s a moment your loved one will never forget, so why not do something creative and unexpected? Push the element of surprise to the next level, combining uniqueness and ingenuity.

Though we believe the proposal should be an original concept, one thing that remains constant is the quality of the engagement ring. There are many types to choose from, and no one will understand your fiancé’s taste better than you. To find the perfect ring, conduct a simple Google search including your geographic location. For example, if you live in Brisbane you’d type engagement rings in Brisbane, from which you’ll discover various custom jewelry specialists.

Buying a ring is the easy part, but coming up with a unique proposal idea is tough. To help provide inspiration, here are some creative proposal ideas that she’ll share with few others:

Propose at Halloween?

Proposals often take place over the holidays, but how many proposals do you know have occurred on Halloween? You will catch your intended off-guard by presenting a ring at this time, and though it’s a spooky holiday, that doesn’t mean you can’t be romantic. You can carve a pumpkin with the shape of the ring, or dress up in a way that resonates. Perhaps wear a wedding costume, or dress up as a frog hoping you’ll get a kiss!

Get Her a Puppy

This might not be for everyone, but if he or she loves puppies, this will have a profound impact. Taking care of an animal together is a big commitment, just like getting married is. Show your loved one you’re ready for a big commitment, and take things up a notch by tying an engagement ring to the pup’s collar! Your partner will be taken back by the puppy, thinking this is the main surprise, but once he or she sees the ring, emotions will run wild. As the puppy grows older and you look after it together, it will always be a symbol of your togetherness.

Give Her a Calendar

Calendars are generally unimpressive as a gift, but what if you mark the date you want to get married? To make things even more cute, you can include pictures of the two of you, alongside landmarks, and other significant events tailored to your circumstances. It might seem unimpressive at first, but when you reveal a proposal date you will astound. Assuming he or she says yes, you can decorate that month’s page and mark the date with “WE SAID YES!”

Spell It Out in Scrabble

Ask your fiancé to play a game of scrabble. During the game, find an opportunity to spell out “Will You Marry Me?” You might have to cheat a bit to get the correct letters, but you’ll be forgiven you considering the sentiment!

Flower Petal Trail

Make a trail of flowers leading to somewhere special in the house. You can include notes along the way to build suspense, and use candles for a romantic twist. When your fiancé finally reaches the end of the trail, you can be there with a red rose and an engagement ring. Use your loved one’s favorite type of flowers, and ensure the final reveal is the most memorable in the chain of events.

Take Her To The Airport

Book a holiday, and say you’ll be arriving separately. Say you’ve arranged for your partner to be picked up–but the surprise will be that you’re the taxi drive. You can go the whole nine yards and dress up like a taxi driver. When you show up, hold up a sign saying “Will You Marry Me?” Your loved one will be overwhelmed, and you can enjoy a lovely holiday together.
