Ever Wonder What’s at Woodstock Now?

Woodstock. The name instantly brings to mind a whole era to any of us who were old enough to listen to music when the concert happened. I didn’t go to Woodstock, I saw the movie — at a drive-in, no less – with my brother pretending to be my uncle guardian because it was rated R for showing muddy hippy-chick breasts… oh, and maybe that part where Country Joe led the crowd in a chant.

Did Robert Johnson Really Make a Deal with the Devil?

We continue our series of social distance friendly travel ideas with a look at our trip along The Mississippi Blues Trail several years ago. Markers highlight the history of blues pioneers and stars from the delta to Chicago.
A young Robert Johnson was hanging around the locally renowned bluesman Son House and the elder musician told the kid he needed to do some serious practicing if he was going to be any good. Utterly Unexpected Palo Duro Canyon
