Vacationing can be a truly exhilarating experience, filled with happy memories you want to relieve. Unfortunately, they can also cause untold misery, making you wish it would end when it just began. Whether you involve yourself in best freshwater fishing in Florida or simply relaxing at the beach, its best to do all you can to make it a success. Below are 10 ways to make your upcoming vacation amazing.

1. Planning May Be The Best Part

To many, the thought of being spontaneous might be exciting and seem adventurous. However, resist going on vacation with no definite plans. If your traveling to another country or state, make the appropriate travel planning. Book a hotel, book a flight, and everything that you may need beforehand to ensure you can fully relax.

2. Give Yourself Ample Time

Many people fall into the snare of packing too many things in their schedule. They never give themselves ample time to and from the vacationing site. To fully enjoy your vacation, don’t rush to your vacation site to squeeze every possible time you can. Also, give yourself ample time to relax on your way back so you won’t feel rushed as you return to work.

3. Opt For Quality Destinations

Even though the trill to see renowned tourist sites can be pressurizing, don’t feel obligated to visit somewhere just because many people are going there. In most cases, they are expensive destinations that are crowded, which translates to you feeling less satisfied with the whole experience. Instead, opt for places you genuinely believe you will like.

4. Do New Things

Leaving your comfort zone can be terrifying for many people. However, limiting yourself can also be restrictive. To make memorable experiences, try something new. Adjust your routine and plan for new experiences of things you have never done before, and you might surprise yourself with new interests.

5. Opt For Quantity Vacation

A three-day weekend vacation is usually great when you are about to blow a fuse and can’t take the pressure of everyday life. Unfortunately, to fully get the benefit of taking a vacation, you need to allow yourself a more extended period. Doing so allows you to let go of time pressures hence giving you more time to relax, socialize, and enjoy your vacation period.

6. Do Enjoyable Things

If you are traveling as a group or with kids,  you can quickly fall into the rut of merely agreeing with what everyone else suggests. To truly enjoy your vacation, ensure that you do things that you genuinely enjoy. Make time for what you enjoy even if it’s as simple as swimming, reading, or meditation.

7. Recognize Limits

Just because you are in a new exciting place doesn’t mean you have to be on your feet every single hour. Recognize your limitations and learn to say enough. Have a lazy day, even in exciting places. Have enough rest, sleep for enough hours, and ensure you don’t skip meals.

8. Manage Your Work

Often, many believe that vacationing means disconnecting yourself from everyday technology and leaving all the work behind. However, if you’re self-employed, or still have pending responsibilities, doing so can get challenging. If you still feel the internal pressure to log in and read emails or respond to work inquiries, then do so for a short time, then enjoy the rest of your day.

9. Take Time To Exercise.

The last thing that many people consider when vacationing is exercising. However, exercising is not a punishment. When taking a few days to relax, ensure you schedule in time to exercise since it’s energizing, cheering and promotes sound sleep and generally good health. Additionally, it allows you to avoid putting on unwanted weight that will taint memories of an otherwise great vacation.

10. Pack What You Need

Often, people take a minimalistic approach when packing for a vacation. However, there is nothing as infuriating as finding you didn’t carry something simply because you wanted to keep your travel bag light. Go over what you use and need every day and ensure you pack them.

Conclusion

As seen above, having the best vacationing experience doesn’t come by chance; it takes effort and preparation to ensure that it’s successful. Take care of small details that can affect your vacation experience, let go of everyday stress, and allow yourself to enjoy your vacation fully.

Important information about Uber and Lyft accidents

Have you ever thought about what you would do if your rideshare car got into an accident while you were riding along? It’s time to understand just what you should do if you’re involved in an accident when riding in an Uber or Lyft vehicle…
CONTINUE READING >>

We all tend to use Uber and Lyft as a regular way to get around town. Whether you need a safe ride home after a night at the bar or don’t have a car to get around on your own, these ridesharing companies can be the perfect solution. However, have you ever thought about what you would do if your rideshare car got into an accident while you were riding along? It’s time to understand just what you should do if you’re involved in an accident when riding in an Uber or Lyft vehicle.

Follow The Basic To-Dos After An Accident

Before we get into explaining the differences that you’ll experience when dealing with an accident as a passenger instead of being in your personal vehicle, we’re first going to go over the basics. You should check all the people in the vehicle you’re riding in to see if they’re injured as well as yourself. If anyone is severely injured, be sure to contact emergency medical assistance. Once everyone in your vehicle is checked for injuries, you should check with the other party to see if any of them are injured.

Take out your smartphone and snap some great pictures of the accident scene. Include all the vehicles, their license plates, their damages, and the entire accident in general. Scribe down the names and contact information of the drivers, including your Uber or Lyft driver. If the other vehicle had any passengers, be sure to get their names and contact information as well. If there are any witnesses on the scene, be sure to get their information as your Uber accident lawyer may need to call on them later down the road to solidify your case. When the officer arrives, be sure to get their contact information and badge number for reference.

Is Uber’s Insurance Going To Cover The Accident?

If the accident was the fault of the Uber driver and not the other party, then it’s important to understand whether or not Uber’s insurance will cover your injury and or damage expenses. Uber does have a one million dollar insurance policy that can kick in to cover your injury and damage costs. However, there are a few key things that you need to be aware of when it comes to their policy coverage. Your ridesharing accident lawyer can help you to wade through the waters of finding out who is responsible for paying for your injury expenses.

Each Uber driver has an application that tracks their movements. This application allows them to assign themselves rides and track their earnings for the rides that they perform. In the event that the Uber driver does have their application on and it was actively tracking your ride, then you’re covered under their insurance policy.

However, if the driver didn’t have the application running in ride mode, Uber won’t cover the accident. That’s right, the fault of the accident will be left to the insurance company of the Uber driver, not Uber themselves. This is where the water gets a little murky when it comes to coverage.

Personal Car Insurance Companies

Many car insurance companies will not cover vehicle accidents when the driver is using their vehicle for ridesharing services. Their debate is that the vehicle is only meant to cover the driver for personal use. If the driver wants to utilize their vehicle for ridesharing services, then they would have to purchase a commercial insurance policy.

Since Uber and Lyft are emerging into the market, many drivers don’t realize the implications of insurance coverage during accidents. Many don’t realize what insurance policy they need to purchase and what Uber will cover for them. As a rider, you should check to see what type of policy the driver has if an accident occurs. This way, your hired personal injury lawyer can identify who your injury claim will be filed through.

What If I Get Hit By An Uber Driver?

Let’s assume that you’re not a passenger anymore but, rather, you’re a pedestrian that gets hit by the Uber driver. Will Uber’s insurance cover your injury costs or will the responsibility lie on that of the driver’s personal insurance policy? The answer is that it depends on the application status.

As you learned above, each Uber driver has an application that tracks their status. There are four different statuses that an Uber driver can select. The first is the application is turned off. This means that the driver is technically not working for Uber at the time and your Uber accident lawyer will file your claim with the driver’s personal insurance company.

The second status is waiting for a ride. In this case, the Uber driver is stationary and only a select limit of Uber’s insurance will cover your injury costs. The limited liability coverage of Uber is 50,000 dollars per person and 25,000 for property damage. All expenses above this coverage limit will fall back on the Uber driver’s personal insurance policy.

The third status is when the driver is on the way to pick up their passenger. At this point, they accepted the ride and are actively working. Uber’s one million dollar policy kicks in during this scenario. The last status is giving the passenger a ride which also has the same coverage limits because the driver is actively working at the time the accident occurs.

What Is The Coverage For Lyft Drivers?

As your Lyft accident lawyer can tell you, Lyft also carries a one million dollar insurance policy for their drivers who are on duty. The same rules as the Uber drivers apply to Lyft drivers as well. As long as the Lyft driver is at fault for the accident that occurs, you can rely on having your injury expenses paid by their insurance company. However, it’s important to clarify that the Lyft driver’s insurance policy will be the first level of coverage. Any expenses in excess of the Lyft driver’s policy will be paid by Lyft’s insurance policy.

Should I Contact A Ridesharing Accident Lawyer?

Regardless of whether you were a passenger, a pedestrian, or other party involved in an accident with an Uber or Lyft driver, you should contact a Lyft accident lawyer in order to ensure you receive proper compensation. West Coast Trial Lawyers are experienced in handling these particular types of personal injury cases. They know how to go through the claims process and can walk you through getting the financial compensation you deserve for the injuries and damages that you received.

Realize that when you contact a lawyer, you can be assured that your interests are being looked out for. Especially when it comes to this kind of personal injury case, it pays to have a professional by your side who knows what they’re doing. It can be overly confusing trying to wade through which insurance company you should be filing a claim with. Also, your ridesharing accident lawyer can be your buffer when it comes to dealing with the various insurance companies. There’s really no reason you should be going through the claims process on your own when you can have experienced help by your side every step of the way.

Tips On How To Stay Fresh On Your Travels

When travelling, staying out all day and exerting effort can make you feel like you constantly need to shower. Sometimes, it’s not enough to just use deodorant and you need to add more effort and products into staying fresh, clean and smelling good on your travels. Here’s a few tips to take into consideration.

Use a stronger fragrance

If deodorant isn’t doing its job enough, it’s time to add a stronger fragrance. Using a cologne always helps, but a sandalwood cologne can be even more effective as it has a stronger scent. Sandalwood is not only long lasting, but is considered a very masculine aroma that has a strong core, allowing for the freshness of the added fragrances on top. It’s a woodsy masculine scent with a touch of sophistication. Its aroma is a mix of vintage and classic that it shows an old school impression of what being a gentleman really is, making it one of the best fragrances to have while you’re travelling.

Take care of your breath

One of the things about having bad breath is that you don’t smell it yourself. Even if you’ve brushed your teeth, there are times when any gum or tooth infection can leave you with bad breath regardless of what you eat. However, to avoid cases like these you can make sure you always carry minty breath-fresheners and chewing gum to deal with the odor. That way, your breath will always smell fresh and you won’t be put in any awkward situations.

Carry wet wipes

Being on the go from day to night can leave you looking and feeling like you’re dusty and unclean. Being exposed to too much pollution and depending on the weather you’re travelling with too, you can feel like there’s an entire layer on top of your skin. Having wet wipes around can be a great way to cleanse your skin and remove all the dust layers, making you look and feel a whole lot fresher. While it isn’t a permanent solution, and you would still need to shower when you get back to your accommodation, that quick fix can make you feel refreshed and deal with the issue of dirt and dust temporarily.

Wear dry-fit shirts

When you’re travelling, you’re bound to get sweaty because you’ll be walking around all day. Sometimes you’ll even be doing adventurous activities which require you to exert more effort, leaving your body sticky and sweaty. The worst thing about it is that with regular clothes, the fabric absorbs the sweat and leaves it stained with sweat along with a bad odor. That’s why wearing dry-fit shirts can prevent bad smells and stains as it is breathable and helps sweat evaporate rather than being absorbed.

When travelling you want to leave a good impression on those you meet on the go and enjoy your time without having to worry about your odor or freshness. Using these tips will help you go about your day and make the most of it without stressing out about your cleanliness. Just remember to take the necessary precautions and you’ll be able to have an absolutely great trip.

Austria, home to the world’s most famous composers like Mozart and Strauss, and home to the founding father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud, is located in the heart of Europe, enthralled in a prestigious culture and rich history.

According to two global surveys, Mercer’s Quality of Living Survey and the Economist Intelligence Unit Liveability Index, Vienna, the capital of Austria, is not only the most livable city in Europe, but the entire world. It achieved the highest ratings in factors such as stability, infrastructure, education and healthcare.

If you’re not lucky enough to be living there, at least you’re lucky enough to make it a travel destination, and what a great decision that is! So, dig into some information you’ll want to know before heading off to this marvelous city.

Language

While many Austrians do speak English, the main language is German. But learning some basic German can be highly appreciated by the Austrians. Learning simple words like danke (thank you), please (bitt) I want, (Ich will), and where is? (Wo ist?) are easy to remember.

Currency

Austria is under the Euro, and though there are many places you can use your credit card in Vienna, there are just as many places where cash is preferred, like in smaller markets of which there are plenty of. Make sure you’re able to use your debit card there to withdraw cash when you have to.

Transportation

You can get by using local transportation; buses, trains, subways, and trams. If you’re traveling solo, these are good options, but traveling as a family or a couple, it will get more costly. You might think of renting a car, but Vienna isn’t very big geographically, and the city centers can be tight with difficulty finding a parking space, and many one-way roads, making it confusing if you don’t know your way around. The better option of car rental would be using taxi vienna airport bratislava, which is a private car service that would be waiting for you once you land at the airport. This assures starting your stay in Vienna with comfort and efficiency and with very reasonable prices.

Food

Vienna is lined with outdoor cafes and restaurants of all sorts. Because of the different ethnic groups living there, mainly Turkish people, you will find a multitude of different cuisines. Of course you don’t want to miss out on Viennese food, such as the infamous Wiener Schnitzel. While in many other cities, you might opt to skip desserts, Vienna is not the place to do that. Sachertorte, a rich chocolate cake with apricot jam, is one of Vienna’s most famous specialties, along with the ever known apple strudel pie. Your trip won’t be complete without trying some of these splendid desserts.

You will definitely have many sights to go to, such as the UNESCO World Heritage site, Schönbrunn Palace, to the Belvedere Palaces surrounded by magnificent gardens are places not to be missed. You can shop in markets for handcrafted items, to a more cosmopolitan style of shopping. The glorious city of Vienna has everything to be your next travel destination.

There’s also another way where you can promote certain products to people in different countries, and when you do these presentations and promotions worldwide, you can get paid for it!

Before you travel to Tibet trip, you should be prepared for this kind of condition.

So, what are the main sights for altitude sickness?

First that you feel when you have altitude sickness is the headache, dizziness, difficulty breathing, nausea is also very common among the travelers. Maybe you will feel chest tightness and drowsiness.

If you feel some of these conditions, don’t panic, that may worsen the situation if you ask a doctor he will tell you the same to stay calm and not to panic. The lack of oxygen is temporary. It needs some time for your body to get accustomed to the new condition.

Every tour agency will provide a bottle of oxygen, so if you need it, the tour guide will provide to you.

The spring in Tibet begins from April to May when the ice from the lakes melts, and the whole nature comes alive. However, the temperatures are still low.

However, from July to August is the rainy season. But the rainy season is not the reason for not visiting Tibet, because rain falls in minimal quantities, so it is not a big issue.

From October to February is winter. It is not advisable to travel to Tibet during the winter, as most of the lakes are frozen, and the beauties that are at a higher altitude will not be able to visit.

6.  What to pack during your Tibet Tour

Whether you travel to Tibet in summer or in other times of the year, always in your backpack you need to pack warm clothes, as well as woolen socks. Due to temperature daytime differences, you should wear lightweight T-shirts as well as slippers. You will need the sticks in your accommodation, so you do not get barefooted. It is compulsory to have comfortable shoes, and if your tour includes hiking or trekking, it is desirable to wear suitable boots for these conditions.

First aid kit is mandatory, also carry painkillers, medicine for colds and flu, medicine for nausea and vomiting. You should also pack medication for diarrhea.

Do not forget the sunscreen, glasses, and it is desirable to take a lip balm. Because of the altitude, ultraviolet sun rays are much stronger, so you have to be well protected during your trip to Tibet.
