The First Presbyterian Church in Port Gibson, Mississippi has a most unusual top. Rather than a cross, this church opted for a pointing finger covered in gold.

This is one of my favorite shots! The animals are so friendly in the Galapagos, including when in flight – the expressions on these guys’ faces are priceless as this frigate comes in for a closer look. I think I was the only one who remembered I had a camera!

In The Galapagos, thousands of Marine Iguanas make an evening pilgrimage to Fernandina Island to worship the sun. Veronica, unable to believe her eyes, and mesmerized by the iguanas’ lack of fear of human nearness, simply laid down and joined in the surreal ceremony.
