Two-thirds
of all the geysers in the world are within the borders of
Yellowstone. Superheated water gushes hundreds of feet into
the air from some while others spout tiny bursts of steam.
In some spots, boiling
springs and pools of sulfur-rich water dwell next to pits of bubbling
mud called paint pots, all reeking like rotten eggs.

We’d love to see Yellowstone – it’s especially meaningful to us, given it was the very first national park declared in the world (hubby is park ranger and I did my PhD on co-management of national parks).
Love the signs, though. We’ve got a few beauties here in Australia like that, too.
Yellowstone is REALLY amazing – it’s like being on another planet! You’ve got great reasons, that’s for sure. Have you heard of this program? https://www.gypsynester.com/okevideo.htm You could do an inexpensive research/vacation!
We haven’t made it to Yellowstone yet, but it is most assuredly on our list. Thanks for sharing.
Those warning signs reminded me of being a kid in the 50’s … I love your color commentary >grin<
Thanks! We had fun making it! We have an affinity for those signs too – Veronica takes pics of ALL of them – just in case they decide to stupidly take them down someday.
