The first question most visitors ask is not where the property is, but which entrance to aim for once they are already on River Road. The address is 8811 River Road, Richmond, British Columbia V6X 3P8, on the bank of the Fraser River, and the complex has several approaches: a hotel driveway, a self-park entrance on the west side, and a covered walkway from the SkyTrain platform.
Plan your arrival around what you came for. The gaming floor runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so there is no closing time to beat, but hotel check-in starts at 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. If you are driving in for a show at the theatre, give yourself extra minutes for the walk from the parkade: the self-park entrance sits roughly a five-minute walk from the hotel entrance.
Bring government-issued photo ID. Every guest entering a casino in British Columbia is required to show it, and the same ID is needed if you want to open an Encore Rewards account at Guest Services.
Where the resort sits and how far it is
Richmond is south of Vancouver, and the resort is at the northern edge of the city, where River Road meets Great Canadian Way. Vancouver International Airport is 3.9 km away by road, about a seven-minute drive. Downtown Vancouver is 18 minutes by train from the station next door.
The property faces the Fraser River, with a marina and boardwalk along the water. That orientation matters for drivers: the parkades and the hotel driveway all open off River Road on the land side, not from the waterfront.
Driving in: highways, exits and the last turn
From Highway 99, northbound drivers take exit 39, signed Bridgeport Road and Airport. Southbound drivers take exit 39A, signed Richmond and Airport. From either exit, head west on Bridgeport Road, then north on Great Canadian Way, and the complex is immediately ahead.
Set your navigation to 8811 River Road for the resort itself. If you are using the park-and-ride entrance, the address 8888 River Road points at the same structure, which doubles as the Bridgeport Canada Line Park and Ride and connects directly to the station.
What about parking
Self-parking is the default. The entrance is through River Road on the west side of the casino. The parkade reached from No. 3 Road and River Road has three floors of free parking, and spaces marked Reserved should be left alone. Paid options exist for guests who want to stop closer to the door or who are driving something tall.
| Option | Where to enter | Cost |
| Self-parking | River Road, west side of the casino | Free in the three-floor parkade |
| South Parkade | Under the Canada Line and the hotel | $2.50, valid 24 hours |
| Valet | Driveway off River Road | $33.00 per night overnight |
| Over-height self-parking | East Parkade | $25.00 per night |
Measure your vehicle before you commit to a low-clearance level. Campers, vans with roof boxes and trucks belong in the East Parkade, and finding that out at the barrier arm during a Friday evening queue is the slowest possible way to learn it.
Arriving by SkyTrain and bus
Bridgeport Station is across the road, at Great Canadian Way and River Road. It is the first stop in Richmond on the Canada Line and the junction where trains split toward Richmond-Brighouse and the airport. From the platform, a covered walkway reaches the resort in about two minutes; with luggage, allow longer and use the elevator rather than the escalators and stairs. One rider reported a fare of $4 to Zone 2 for the Bridgeport stop.
The station is also a bus hub, with connections to 15 routes running through Richmond, Delta, South Surrey and White Rock. Services include the 100, 311, 351, 352, 354, 403, 407, 412, 430, 601, 602, 603 and the N10 night bus. Route 620 runs to Tsawwassen for BC Ferries, which makes the station a practical staging point if you are combining a visit with a ferry sailing.
Searching for travel advice turns up a cluster of unaffiliated pages trading on the resort’s name, and if you want to know which of them have anything to do with the Richmond property, an independent review site covering online River Rock sorts out what actually operates under that name.
What to expect at the door
Doors are staffed and ID is checked. The minimum age to enter the gaming floor is 19, and the same limit applies at hotel check-in. Minors cannot pass through the food court, since it sits inside the age-restricted zone.
The dress code is casual. Shirts and shoes are required, nothing formal is expected, and guests arriving straight from the airport in travel clothes will not be turned away.
If you are staying overnight with a pet, settle the fee at check-in rather than at the door; animals other than service animals carry an added charge. And if you parked in the free parkade, note your level before you walk in, because the structure is large and the walk back from the hotel entrance is long enough to make guesswork expensive in time.
Entry is limited to guests aged 19 and over; set your limits before you play.
