St. John is the smallest of the three U.S. Virgin Islands in the Caribbean and there, the sightseeing fun never ends. Since the island is mostly forested, there is a lot to see so plan on packing binoculars, hiking boots, and your best camera. The Virgin Islands National Park covers over half the island and is home to seasonal birds from cuckoos to warblers and colorful hummingbirds. The mangrove trees located at Hurricane Hole sustain corals and anemones. In the clear blue waters live dolphins and hawksbill and green turtles.
