The rainy season runs from November through May and during this time you can expect rain for at least two days each week. The dry season is from June through October when temperatures are lower and there’s less chance of rain than in other months.

During this time of year, it’s not uncommon for temperatures to reach up to 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius) in the afternoon and nighttime lows drop down into the 60s (16-20 Celsius). This waterfall has several tiers and drops into a natural pool where you can swim if it’s hot outside.
Another popular attraction at Khao Yai is Thai Elephant Trekking where tourists get an opportunity to ride elephants through the dense rainforest while learning about their history as well as how they are treated today by mahouts (elephant handlers).
