We Found the Best Place to Stay for Teleworking in Fuerteventura

The other day we got to thinking, which I know with us can be somewhat dangerous, “Where would be a great place to work for digital nomads who love the sun, sea, and sand? A place that’s perfect for enjoying spectacular beauty and water sports action?”

Then it came to us, with no danger whatsoever, the island of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands has all of this to offer which makes it the ideal home for any Digital nomad in Corralejo.

Of course we can’t come to this conclusion with out some good reasons, and we didn’t, so let us share a few of the best ones we thought of with you.

One of the biggest for us is the Buendía Corralejo Hotel, or I guess we should say no-hotel, because it is much more than just a hotel that they like to call themselves a no-hotel. And why not? They have an amazing array of apartments featuring either a panoramic seascape scene overlooking the picturesque Isla de Lobos, or a view out onto the pool in the spacious central courtyard.

They are all spacious and breezy, with a private terrace, balcony, or solarium and also include a well equipped kitchen, with the most important item for us, a coffee maker. And since even us digital nomads like to get dressed up now and then, the hairdryer, iron, and ironing board might just save the day, or night, sometime.

Speaking of digital nomads, another good reason is that every apartment has high-speed Wi-Fi, along with television including international channels, so we can always stay completely up to date with our email, stories, posts, videos and photos.

But we also know that all work and no play is no way to spend the day so it is important to find the time to do some of the super fun water activities available. Maybe we could even learn to Surf in Fuerteventura.

Cowabunga, surf’s up! Don’t worry about gear either, at Point Break Watersports they have surfboard rentals and everything else that any surfer needs to catch some waves.

Although, if you are like us, and you will never hang 10 because surfing just doesn’t seem to be something that we can get the hang of, there are a whole bunch of other exciting water sports to enjoy in Corralejo.

We have found that kitesurfing, paddleboarding, and windsurfing are more our style, and the instructors do a great job with improving skills and ensuring that everybody has a safe and unforgettable experience.

Here’s another big idea, how about after an intense session of water sport action, why not unwind with one of the incredible yoga classes offered by SYNERGY, at Buendía Corralejo? What a great way to combine the energy and excitement of surfing with the peaceful calm of yoga.

So now that we have given our reasons for loving the idea of being a digital nomad in Corralejo, it’s time for all of our fellow travelers to make a decision. And as luck would have it, we have something that might just help everyone make up their minds, a newsletter to keep us all up to date with everything that’s going on at Buendía and in the surrounding areas. Just hit the link at the beginning of this story to sign up.

Then, by the time we all get to Fuerteventura, we will practically be locals.
