All That You Need to Take on a Perfect Summer Trip to Thailand

It is that time of the year when most of us are already prepping and planning up for our summer travels and cannot wait to board the plane. Nothing can be more exciting when you are planning to visit a country as happening as Thailand. Whether you are a solo traveler or a honeymooner, budget backpacker or a luxury tourist, Thailand is equally enthralling for everyone. However, when you are going to explore a country like Thailand that has so much to offer, it is important that you go with the right essentials so that you can have the best of the experience.

A Backpack

If it is your first trip to Thailand, it is important for you to understand the dynamics of the country. Although it has unlimited attractions to offer in every part of the country, it is very geographically dispersed. You will find yourself on buses, on domestic flights and even on boat cruises and wooden tail boats every now and then for your excursions. Under those circumstances, your best bet is to travel smartly as it is often a hassle to travel with oversized luggage. Having your essentials in a canvas backpack makes your excursions much easier, hassle-free and even economical. Moreover, backpacks have been one of the trendiest fashion accessories on the ramps last season and the trend is still very much in. Invest in a good waterproof travel backpack and you will not regret your decision one bit.

Clothing

Thailand has a tropical climate and the weather remains hot and humid. Even in the country’s mountainous terrains where temperatures are a tad bit lower, the temperature is still pleasant by western standards and not cool. Unless you are traveling with kids, pack only a few t-shirts and shorts or skirts for female travelers. You may keep a pair or two of full-length jeans for places where you cannot wear shorts and one formal attire in case you plan to fine-dine or go to high-end clubs that have a mandatory formal dress code. Of course, do not forget your beach suits and swimwear.

Shoes

When in Thailand, you will find yourself exploring most areas on foot. Either you will be walking through the street markets, trekking through the rainforests or on the sandy beaches. If you want to have a great travel experience without feeling tired, discomfort or sore feet, wear a pair of good joggers or sneakers that has a good grip and comfortable support for your foot soles. Other than that invest in a good pair of Fit Flops or Hawaiians for those beaching mood and bote excursions where joggers fail to serve the purpose.

Toiletries

Even if you are planning on to check-in at some place and luxurious as Hyatt or Hilton, take your own toiletries. Your hotel may provide you with complementary ones but they m, might not suit your skin and hair, especially if you have sensitive skin. The last thing you would want is an unwanted acne breakout on your vacation. Besides that, make sure you pack a good sunscreen with a good SPF value for those hot and humid tropical days.
