I’m in S.C. right now. Will look them up.
You should, it’s great!
Beautiful. Simply beautiful in so many ways. Your best video ever, in my (totally useless) opinion. If I’m ever in that part of the country I’ll look up that interesting lady’s place and have some low country food. Thanks
We don’t think you opinion is useless! Thanks. 😉
Makes my mouth water with remembrance … those Gullah sure know how to cook :0)
I can tell by just looking the collards are delicious!! Want them now! Everything else looks yummy too!
It was. 🙂
I first learned about the Gullah while being a mom, watching Nickelodeon, Gullah Gullah Island. I learned more in 2008 after I went back to college in an Anthropology class, my professor got her Phd researching that community.
Had shecrab soup in sc last week. The food was fabulous. Fresh fish everyday. Yummmmmmm
We’re jealous. 😉
