Im Irish but I live in Czech and I can sadly tell you that most hotels are of that standard, of course there are better ones, but they cost an arm and a leg, your breakfast looked good though, I stayed in a three star hotel in Brno,Czech rep. where for breakfast I was treated to 1 slice of bread and 1 triangle of foil wrapped cheese, when my husband asked for a 2nd portion of cheese all he got was a dirty look!! 🙂

    1. This place wasn’t so bad, it claimed to be 3 stars (not sure who’s handing out the stars). It wasn’t all that cheap either, but you’re right, a lot less than other nicer hotels closer into town.
