  1. I love this! I got scared when I saw BUTANE as the first ingredient on a dry-spray hair cleaner. Oatmeal sounds way safer. My hair could use the extra body, too! Great job, Veronica.

  2. You are a saint for even trying that! I would have probably made a huge mess. Sorry, but I am a huge fan of Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo Spray. Spray it on, let it dry, brush through — done. Your hair smells nice and it is way easier. Don’t know if you’ve tried it.

  3. Thanks for this video! I heard about using oatmeal or cornstarch, and between the two, I’d rather use oatmeal, but I wanted to see if someone else had used oatmeal and what their results were before I used it myself. I’m glad it worked for you!

  4. Interesting. Seems like it would be VERY useful on, say, a camping trip where water is scarce. Was it just a huge mess of oat flakes everywhere after the brushing process? I think I would be feeling like I had the worst case of dandruff EVER!

    Thanks,
    Chana

    1. It wasn’t that big of a mess because we had ground the oatmeal very fine and laid paper down. It brushed out easily, but did leave a “dusty”, but not terrible, trace behind! Lightened my hair for the day, but was WAY better than the stuck to my head grease mess I had going! -Veronica
